Our story-In 2022, we started The Leaders Framework with a simple but powerful belief: every leader deserves to have purpose, clarity, and joy in their work.

Our journey began because we saw too many leaders struggling—not because they lacked talent or ambition, but because they didn’t have the right tools, support, or frameworks to create healthy, high-performing teams. With a deep passion for helping leaders discover their authentic selves and build teams that are not only effective but also fulfilled, we set out to change the way people approach leadership. 

We have found that the more we invest in healthy leaders, the more we can transform workplaces into environments where people feel valued, inspired, and driven by purpose.

Since launching, we’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and nonprofits, equipping them with the strategies, insights, and coaching they need for sustainable success.

With a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership, James has 15+ years of leading teams, coaching, and public speaking experience. James focuses on activating people as they discover and maximize their unique leadership potential. James is a leader of leaders and pulls the best out of people. He believes that every person has a leader within and his mission is to help them discover it for themselves.

Lori Burke

Co-Founder/Lead Growth and
Development Coach

Described as a “strategic pioneer,” Lori has devoted her life to championing others to discover the power of courage, belief and true vulnerability.

Lori’s focus has been counseling, mentoring, and strategic coaching for 15+ years. Her belief in people is authentic, contagious, and unmatched. What drives Lori’s work is the passionate belief that every person has greatness within. Her ability to strategically see the root of a problem and the path forward to a solution is one of her greatest gifts.

Mariah Hardy

Growth Coach and Project Lead

Described as “the person you want in your corner,” Mariah empowers leaders by identifying their strengths, maximizing their potential, and nurturing their weaknesses. Balancing kindness with directness, they create environments where leaders feel both challenged and supported.


For the past 10 years, Mariah has consulted in the emotional health space, leading teams and facilitating courses on resilience and psychological safety. With a diverse background—from college basketball to film, theater, and grassroots work—they bring a unique perspective to leadership development. No matter the setting, their passion remains the same: creating environments where leaders can fail forward, grow boldly, and lead authentically.
